Route – Step by Step

  1. START – Fairfield County Fairgrounds, Fair Avenue All units assemble and depart from the Fairgrounds. Enter via the Broad Street entrance and follow parade helpers to your pre-assigned spot. Parade leaves promptly at 10:00 AM.
  2. LEG 1 – Travel SOUTH on N. Columbus Street From Fair Avenue, the parade travels south on N. Columbus Street, passing through Arnold Ave, Allen St, 6th Ave, 5th Ave, Union St, Mulberry St, and Wheeling St — all the way to Main Street.
  3. TURN – East on Main Street At Main Street, the parade turns east, crossing from N. Columbus Street to N. Broad Street.
  4. LEG 2 – Travel NORTH on N. Broad Street From Main Street, the parade travels north on N. Broad Street, passing through Wheeling St, Mulberry St, Union St/King St, 5th Ave, 6th Ave, Allen St, Arnold Ave — all the way back to Fair Avenue.
  5. END – Back at the Fairgrounds, Fair Avenue (~12:45 PM) The parade concludes at the Fairgrounds on Fair Avenue. The 4th of July celebration — rides, food, entertainment stages, arts & crafts, car show, and the evening fireworks — continues all day at the Fairgrounds.

Parade Rules & Information for Entrants

Spectator tip: Park at the Fairgrounds before the parade and walk to your viewing spot along N. Columbus St or N. Broad St. No parking in the parade area until after the route clears (~12:45 PM). Blankets & tarps may only be placed to hold a spot after 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 3rd.
